- Dear Clint,
Thank you for your kind note.
I am glad that the promotion has been mutually beneficial.
I must thank you and your team for the thoroughly professional way in which you have all conducted yourselves. It has been a pleasure working with you all. The Midland Meander promotion has been very successful for us all. I hope that your serving and culinary staff benefited from the experience. We certainly enjoyed having them on site and have benefitted from your efforts and their enthusiastic input.
Thank you particularly for extending yourself in assisting Warren and Michael during their trip to the Midlands and for acting as a go between for getting elements of the product and promotional material to Durban.
Opportunity arising I look forward to working with you again in the future.
Best Regards,
Greg Jacobson

- Many thanks for giving of your time to make the visit to your establishment by the Methodist Home for the Aged such a memorable one. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves, were impressed by what you had to offer and many remarked on how kind, particularly polite and considerate you were. You were a credit to this area and the Midlands Meander! Keep it up; we are planning some more tours. Kind regards, John Hall - Pleasant Places
- My folks actually went for a night for their 50th wedding anniversary. I dealt with Sabine via email, and she was really efficient and friendly, and kindly organized a bottle of champagne for my folks on their arrival. My folks thoroughly enjoyed their stay, and were also impressed with Clint in the restaurant.
- We had a wonderful time at Caversham and were fortunate enough to meet Terry (owner). We strolled onto his homestead and upon realizing our mistake, we apologised and offered to leave. Terry then said an amazing thing that will remain with us for a very long time. He said that how could anyone keep a place as beautiful as this private, it is for all to share. What a wonderful attitude. Clint was an excellent host, informative and entertaining. He is a real asset. If there is one area that we can offer constructive criticism, it would be to build a lounge area for guests to sit around a log fireplace before and even after dinner. The bar area only has 2 bar stools and a small couch that accommodates 2 people.(4 in total) The rest have to stand or sit at the dining tables. Nevertheless we will be back. (comments from Caversham Mill: this will most certainly be discussed)…
- This was our second stay in Caversham Mill & we loved it! The cottages are clean & spacious. The gardens & surrounding area is peaceful & beautiful. The staff are efficient & friendly & the food is delicious! It was my 40th birthday & I could not have thought of a better place to spend it. I have a 5 year old & Caversham is great for families. I love the midlands meander, there is so much to do there, we will definitely be back.
- I can only praise Caversham Mill for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and not to mention the food was wonderful. We'll definitely be paying them another visit and plan to take family along too.
- We had a great stay with excellent service! The cleanliness of the apartments was truly impressive. My kids are constantly asking when we’re going back… You will certainly see us again!!
- We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Caversham Mill and have already recommended it to a few people. The cleaning staff were excellent and efficient too. It was indeed a pity to only have time to stay for such a short while. As our finances permit , we would like to revisit the place.

Dear Clint
Thank you for hosting us on Tuesday for the media launch of the 2008/9 Midlands Meander Guide. You did an excellent job making everyone feel very relaxed and welcome and the food was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you and appreciate the time and effort you put into making the event the success that it was. Feedback has been very positive, it seems everyone really enjoyed the day, discovering the good people and good places that make up the Midlands Meander. I do hope you will also benefit from the exposure, I know everyone who had lunch at Caversham Mill will certainly visit again.
Thank you

Dear Diana & Terry
We were fortunate to stay at your establishment over the last weekend in Mncane Cottage. We would hereby like to thank you and your friendly staff for a wonderful stay. The cottage was so comfortable and felt like home from home. Roo and Mango were always there to welcome us back “home”.

Dear Heidi/Diana,
I wish to compliment and thank you at the same time!
On our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the personal touch in little things that is easily overlooked.
Thank you for the pleasant stay in the most beautiful, neatest place (Midlands Forest Lodge no 9).
The pure white bedding and towels just added to the Peace and Quietness we experienced.
And meals at Caversham Mill Restaurant were also something to enjoy.
Looking forward to our next stay.
Kind regards,
Annie

“I want to say thank you for a wonderful time we spent at the cottage. I cannot remember when myself and my friends had such a relaxed and delightful stay anywhere. The cottage and setting was awesome. I will most certainly promote your cottages and will definitely be staying there again. It was a piece of heaven, thank you.”

“Thank you and all the staff at Caversham Mill, from the Chief Cook to the Bottle Washer, for a wonderful Birthday Bash. You made us all feel welcome and at home from the moment we stepped through the door and were drawn to the warmth and smell of the wood fire until pumpkin time. The food was delicious… Mandla and his team looked after the mob very attentively…”
Good News for Summer!
Caversham Mill owners, Diana and Terry, have just completed major renovations on the Restaurant. The entire front wall space overlooking the waterfall has been opened out into folding doors. This allows guests to feel like they are sitting outside on a lovely warm day. Feedback from guests who have dinned in the “new” restaurant is excellent they love the new atmosphere that the openness creates. Come and join us and see for yourself!
