Self-catering accommodation
Caversham Mill Country Cottages
Three wood and iron cottages were built on the property as Mill Manager houses for the Caversham Mill. They date from the early 1900s, and every effort has been made to preserve the original style in order to maintain their historical heritage. The exterior walls are made from mud/clay bricks with supporting wooden poles, and the floors and ceilings are of the original Oregon wood. Surrounded by tall trees and huge azaleas, the cottages are private and secluded, and guests are ensured a tranquil and relaxing visit. This accommodation is perfect for a self-catering getaway and tie in well with Caversham Mill Manor for a large group wanting to stay together.
Each cottage has a log fireplace to keep you warm on a chilly winter's evening. There is a lounge with TV and dining room in each cottage. Fridge, freezer, microwave, stove and oven facilities are provided in each kitchen. Braai facilities are also provided and wood is supplied.
Cottages are serviced daily.
Linen is changed every 3rd day for long staying guests.
Laundry facilities are available to those who wish to have their laundry done at a minimal charge.
